We are on the approved list of contractors for Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire County Councils and have fitted a wide range of flooring in schools, colleges, libraries, museums and care homes in both the state and independent sectors over the past 25 years. We also work in the commercial and retail sectors as well as carrying out work on projects in the healthcare sector and technical areas, where clients have found our specialist knowledge invaluable. Although most of our clients are based in the South of England, we are naturally happy to work with you wherever you are in the UK, provided the job warrants the journey.

B&Q plc

Key Floors has worked for over 20 years with B&Q, the UK's leading retail DIY outlet. In recent years we have been involved in its revamp programmes, supplying and fitting vinyl wood strip effect flooring in merchandising areas and coffee shops nationwide, as well as refurbishing the administration areas. In November 2006 we were particularly pleased to have been selected from the B&Q contractors to be the recipient of a certificate in recognition of our hard work and commitment in delivering the 2006 B&Q revamp programme. We also hold an ongoing flooring maintenance contract through SGP for all B&Q stores within the south and south-east of England, a contract we have held for many years.

Hampshire County Council

We work on a regular basis in schools, libraries, care homes and other HCC premises. Recent work has involved flooring in schools, colleges, nurseries and care homes from Lymington to Portsmouth on the south coast, and from Andover to Farnborough further north, where we have supplied and fitted flooring in halls, sports halls, classrooms, corridors, offices, bedrooms, staircases and toilets. Key Floors carries out emergency day work maintenance and is one of the few companies approved by HCC and Hampshire Scientific Service for the uplift and safe removal of low risk asbestos flooring.

Wates Retail

Since 2005 we have had contracts with Wates Retail, supplying and installing flooring to the B&Q specification in the merchandising areas for new build B&Q mini-warehouses.

Vibro-meter UK, Basingstoke, leading manufacturer of sensors used in aerospace and other industries

Vibro-Meter moved to new premises in Basingstoke, requiring over 2,000 sq m of industrial flooring. The sub-floor was prepared with shot-blasting and spot grinding, the screed was pumped, after which we laid high performance safety flooring.
