Careers
We have vacancies from time to time and we are always keen to hear from possible new fitters, either to join our staff or to work as a subcontractor. Much of our work is in schools and the public sector, in addition to our commercial and industrial sites.
There are various levels of entry:
- Fully qualified, with at least 3 years experience in fitting vinyl, linoleum, rubber and stuck down carpet.
- Apprentice, with the commitment to study for the NVQ Level 2 qualification in Floor Covering. The apprentices work with Key Floors teams on a variety of projects, attending College for blocks of weeks over a two year period.
- Labourer/Construction Site Operative
All staff and subcontractors are expected to pass the Construction Skills Certification Scheme Health and Safety test, leading to their obtaining a CSCS card at the relevant level. All our staff and subcontractors are CRB checked.
